As Steve Payne is an ex RAF Lightening jet fighter mechanic, he invited the other Monday club members to "Big Thunder", which is a day celebrating classic aircraft at Bruntingthorpe Airfield.

It lived up to it's name, and the Lightening Jet literally shook the Earth on the run way!

Here are some of the aeroplanes involved, including a fully functional, flying model of a Vulcan bomber. Awesome!
