The West Bromwich
classic car show has become one of the must go to shows of the year. It
was at the 2003 show that the Monday Club members met, and as West
Bromwich is the home of Jensen cars, the show attracts lots of Jensen
vehicles (27 this year) and ex members of the Jensen workforce who share
their memories of life at the factory.
The show hosts many varieties of cars, buses, and
trucks, as well as fair ground rides, auto jumble stalls, and a mean
goat curry from the Caribbean food stand!
The Monday Club members met outside the West Bromwich
Albion football ground, and the picture below was taken in front the
their great escape banner as they fight off relegation from the
Premiership! (Which they did, against unbelievable odds (3 other teams
had to loose, and they had to win) to become the only club to be bottom
of the Premiership table at Christmas to avaoid relegation).

Here are some of the sights from the show.
Lots of Jensen's!
My mate Roger's Bond Bug. Would you
believe this guy is a designer at Jaguar cars!
A very bling Jag!
An even more bling Jag engine!
A very yellow Westfield.
Wonder if he gets problems with
cooling?
A potential new owner tries the car
for size!
A very tasty Corvette
I think this guy is hard of
hearing...
And you thought Jensen fuel
consumption was high!
